Erin, these are beautiful. The water drops so clear in the first, and the second image seems to glow from deep within the flower. Nice captures.
Glad you're enjoying the trip down AZ memory lane.
I was musing on my Photo Hunt this week about things purple in real life looking a different color in photos. That seems to be the case with at least one of your entries... to which I'm thinking: so, maybe it's not just my digital camera that does it. Do you have a Panasonic TZ2 camera by any chance?
Oh wow! Those photos you took are just stunning. The water droplets look 3-D and wet, too.
Thanks for sharing,
Lisa
Wow!! Stunning photos. I'm still waiting for spring flowers... I did purple, too. I hope you have time to see! http://newyorktraveler.net/photo-hunters-purple/
Lovely shots you have. I did purple too at http://prettyfabulous.blogspot.com/2009/04/photo-hunt-13-purple.html
So pretty I can almost smell them!

Oh wow! That first one is wonderful. The white edge against that deep purple is lovely.
Beautiful pitures!
Oh, I love all the flowers that you posted. Your blue petunia with white edges and droplets on its velvet petals is gorgeous. I had the same last year in my garden. And Morning Glory one of my favorite flowers; always beautiful, charming and special, and those little flowers from the last photo look so sweet and “cheerful”.:-)
