When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you
If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star as dreamers do(Fate is kind, she brings to those who love the sweet fulfillment of their secret longing)
Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and sees you thru
When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true
The song When You Wish Upon a Star won the 1940 Academy Award for best original song and introduced in the 1940 Walt Disney movie Pinocchio.
Writer: Leigh Harline
Lyrics: Ned Washington
Dreams do come true, if we only wish hard enough. You can have anything in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it.
James Matthew Barrie -1860-1937 Scottish Dramatist and Novelist best known as the creator of Peter Pan
What is your WISH ?
What are you willing to SACRIFICE for it?

Honestly I don't wish for anything, other than continued good health for our family, my husbands career to be successful enough to keep supporting us. I know it's all cliche, but really I don't wish for material things at the moment!
Great post!
I am wishing to walk again without pain. To be able to do ALL the things I normally did before I fell off my horse.
I'm willing to sacrifice my time, patience, strength and energy towards reaching that goal. (But hoping the pain won't be too awful. I've had it with the pain, thank you).
How about you? What do you wish for?

I have always loved that song. You know my wish. I'm willing to sacrifice my time and my strength.
I wish for my Hubby to retire and start his own small business of consulting out of our home... also wish for a smaller house and less property to maintain...*sighs

Nice to see you back up and running in bloggy land! YAY
When one is healthy he then wishes everything to have. But when he is lying in a bad he wishes a good health only. Therefore I wish a good health for me and my family as well as for my friends. And, of course, may peace be in the whole world!
Very beautiful photo for SWF. Love the way the sky and trees were reflected on the window glass. Have a nice weekend.
Nice post. I don't have an answer but I'm thinking about it. Right now I've just been counting my blessings and trying not to take anything for granted. :-)
I wish I could live in a cooler climate!!!
Have you seen Finding Neverland? It is the story of Mr. Barrie and how he was inspired to write Peter Pan. It is so sweet and I just love it!
