Today's Flowers-Morning Glories from My Garden

Morning Glories-October 2008
Each morning sees some task begin,
Each evening sees it close;
Something attempted
Something done,
Has earned a night's repose.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~

My neighbors grew morning glories for a while, so I would enjoy their pretty faces. Your photo is lovely, especially with the drips of wet.

I've always had mixed emotions about morning glories. I think they're beautiful but as a kid they always tried to take over our garden so I was constant out in the garden with a hoe trying to get rid of them.

The Magenta contrasts beautifully with the white and green colours. You have also posted a very lovely poem. Happy Holidays.

My favorite flowers! I'm partial to the 'heavenly blue' but these have changed my mind. Thanks for sharing the beauty from a beautiful state as well.

Morning glories are so pretty. I like the poem you posted too. I just don't morning glories in my yard. They take over everything if I don't watch them.
